Talent Jam gives teens a high-energy performance outlet that builds confidence and reduces social anxiety in a low-stakes format.

My purchase was on time. The cards were sturdy for a continual use. I enjoyed the questions and we had lots of fun sharing God's love ❤️
Definitely overpriced and not worth the money. It is only informative for people without a clue of what gratitude is. As a retired licensed Teacher, Psychology Professor, and Clinical Psychologist, I give this product of very tiny cards a C- due to how simple the suggestions, instructions, and statements are. I was very disappointed and certainly will not recommend this product which you can create yourself without much effort.
This is a very fun family game. All the game parts are excellent quality and it is easy to play. My 4 year old can play, he just needs help reading the cards. The green cards are Draw cards where it gives you some silly object you have to draw. Blue cards are Talk cards that have tongue twisters that you have to say. Yellow is Sing, they ask tell you to sing a song that either you or the "audience" pick and you have to sing it in some silly voice or doing some goofy action. Red is Move, pretty self explanatory in that it asks you to do some kind of physical action. You roll the color dice to determine which color card you have to pick. Then you do what the card says and the "audience" uses numbered tokens to vote on how they think you did. Whoever has the most tokens wins. Very easy game play and fun for the whole family.
I bought this game for my son and his friends (ages 10-12) to play during hangouts. It reminds me of Cranium with its four different colors and varied categories. However, unlike Cranium, this game isn't team-based; everyone can participate either performing or judging. This aspect is crucial because their attention spans are short, and active involvement keeps them engaged and interested. With Cranium, we struggled to finish games as their attention waned, especially when it wasn't their team's turn and they became distracted. In contrast, they really loved this game. It's not overly challenging, and the cards can be reused and played repeatedly. Another plus is that it doesn't require a board and can be played anywhere.
This is my 3rd or 4th set of gratitude/mindfulness cards and it’s not bad, but after a few of these cards, something about how they state/phrase the statements seems very repetitive and I prefer my other decks of cards to this one.
This set DOES inspire you to think about and reflect on many different topics so this IS the awesome part of this deck of cards.
I wish there were inspiring quotes on the other side of the cards, instead it’s just the same Gratitude statement.
This deck will give you a lot of thoughtful reflection topics so it’s still a great set. I just wish that the way they phrase each statement would vary a lot more than what I experience flipping through the deck. Enjoy! :0)
These are nice cards. The stock weight feels sturdy but not cumbersome. The colors are sweet and the insert comes with several suggestions for how to get the most out of using the cards to develop a gratitude practice. I got these for myself, but I would give them as a gift!
I love these cards. I use them as prompts in my team meetings. I give people a minute to reflect and the opportunity to share if they wish. There’s something powerful about being in the presence of 15 people in thoughtful reflection. Highly recommend.
These cards offer simple but often forget sentiments, actions, and realities that often get bogged down in my constant need to be productive. These are awesome reminders that I use for myself, coworkers, and patients. I need a set for home too
I can tell that this gratitude deck was done by professional people because some of the prompts, I've used with clients that I see. This is a wonderful way to aid in mindfulness and gratitude daily. I purchased this for myself to incorporate into my daily devotions in the morning. I have a lot of reasons to be grateful. I also love the 9 activities that are included to get deeper into gratitude practice. The idea of feeling grateful on purpose is a science-based way to feel and live better. This is by far a great gift for men, women and kids alike. A super value and worth every cent. I highly, highly recommend.
I’m skeptical of all things that claim to bring the user happiness. But counting one’s blessings (even though I’m not religious) or just thinking about things to be happy about seem like generally a good practice for any humans.
I like this deck. These cards are nicely made and good quality. I like to flip through them as I fall asleep at night. I don’t know much about the science behind doing that sort of thing. But what I do know is that I like the warm fuzzy feeling it gives me.
This deck looks to be good for pulling a random card a day to ponder. The suggested exercises on the brochure offer a handful (9) of ideas for further ways to contemplate the different cards’ topics.
The only things I dislike are the cards that say things along the lines of “think about someone who helped you through something sad.” When I’m in a warm and fuzzy moment, flipping through the deck, those can be a bit of a downer compared to the rest of the deck. Of course, I could set them aside for another time. Their presence is really not a deal breaker, just a thing that doesn’t quite fit, thematically, 100% with all the other cards, in my opinion.
There are 52 3 1/2" by 2 1/2" cards packed in a very sturdy cardboard storage box. Each card has a soft pastel background and a gratitude prompt printed in a soft brown colored ink. The overall look is very peaceful.
The cards have a prompt that helps me get inspired when I'm journaling - sometimes I want to write in my journal but just can't quite get started. Each card is different with some asking to remember past events and feelings while others look to the future. There is a good mix and the prompts are simple enough to promote reflection in children, too. We used one card at dinner tonight for a topic and let everyone at the table talk about a moment in their day that made them smile. It was fun and the resulting conversations were actually quite surprising to me. Everyone agreed that they want to do it again tomorrow.
Included is a small pamphlet with suggested uses for the cards.
The cards are good quality with a smooth, matte finish - the material feels similar to Bicycle playing cards and they don't feel cheap. The printing is crisp and clean. The top sides of the cards have the same decorative pattern, but the reverse sides with the prompts come in a variety of background patterns. There's a fold-out instructions pamphlet that includes ideas for activities that utilize the cards.
I like the different prompts and they seem widely applicable: I think they are generalized enough that most people will be able to use them. In the past, I've seen gratitude prompts that are very specific and I struggled to apply them to my circumstances. Therefore, I like these ThinkPsych prompts for their versatility.
The $19.99 USD cost (price at the time of my order) seems a bit expensive. However, I think this deck is still a good value: the cards can be stored and transported in their sturdy box, they have high quality printing and are made of a good material for long-term use, and the prompts are good. I plan to make use of the deck to help me recognize the positive things and people in my life - which can help me find balance against the "negativity bias" (whereby negative events weigh on one's mind more than a positive event).
This game has been a great addition to my elementary Special Education Resource Room! I teach at a Title 1 school, and we love the thought-provoking questions that get them talking and learning about different perspectives and experiences. I have several students on the Autism spectrum, and they love the “team” game mode where it doesn’t feel as pressuring 😊
The superlative suggestions are also great and my students have had so much fun recognizing each other for their conversation skills. All of my students love this game and have been asking to play again and again! It is packaged well (nice and compact), easy to understand, and requires very little set up which makes for a great early finish activity. 😊
My 9 year old has asked to play this game every day since I introduced her to it. I think she especially likes the 1:1 attention from me and the platform to talk about whatever she is thinking. I like that she’s starting to recognize when she rambles on. She’s starting to take pauses and wait for a response or question.
The groups of kids I work with enjoyed playing the game
Excellent social communication game that is great for teaching reciprocity. My kids love it and it's an easy way to teach how to ask questions. I've added bonus points for nonverbal communication skills as well and recommend keeping this in mind as your child starts to improve their skills
