"This is one of our favorite games to use in therapy right now! Kids love acting out different emotions and characters. It's a fresh twist on classic bingo that's genuinely lots of fun!"

How to use

  • At Home
  • In the Classroom
  • In Therapy

Play a round at family game night. Deal the bingo cards and take turns acting out the emotion, animal, or object on each drawn card while everyone marks their matches.

Kids stay engaged because they are up and moving, and they start naming emotions on their own without being asked.

Use Feelings Bingo as a group warm-up or SEL activity. Players take turns drawing a card and acting out the emotion while everyone else marks their bingo cards.

With no prep needed, it is an easy way to get the whole group practicing emotion recognition and having fun at the same time.

Run a game in individual or small-group sessions, pausing on each emotion to talk about a time the child has felt that way.

The lighthearted format makes it easy for kids to open up about feelings in a way that feels natural rather than clinical.

FAQ

What ages is Feelings Bingo for?

Feelings Bingo is designed for ages 5 and up. Older kids have a blast too, especially with the variety of characters and emotions to act out.

How is this different from regular bingo?

Instead of calling out numbers, players act out the emotion, animal, or object shown on each card. Everyone marks the matches on their bingo cards, so recognizing and expressing feelings becomes part of the game.

How many people can play?

Two to six players at a time. It works well one-on-one for focused practice and plays just as well with a small group. Most rounds finish in about 15 minutes.

What is included in the box?

12 bingo cards, 39 emotion cards, 96 bingo chips, 4 challenge cards, a storage bag, and an instruction guide. Everything you need for a full group is ready to play out of the box.

Do kids need to read to play?

No. Each emotion has an icon and color that young or pre-reading players can match, so kids can join in before they can read the emotion words.

When kids act out emotions and watch others do the same, they practice reading social and emotional cues in a safe, playful setting. Feelings Bingo turns every turn into a lesson in empathy, without it feeling like one.
Feelings Bingo feature 3
Designed by US psychologists (Dr. Anton & Dr. Rebecca), Feelings Bingo is trusted in therapy rooms, school counseling offices, and classrooms. It's the rare game that's as useful as it is fun.
