Language Learning Cards

These cards are good quality. The are thick and sturdy, and I love that there are two picture for every concept. My only complaint (and it’s minor!) is the box. I don’t know why they didn’t just create a box where you didn’t have to split up the categories (see last picture). I can live with it, it’s just a silly design.

This set of actions, body parts and emotions cards are a fantastic learning tool for any child. These are a good thickness and a lot sturdier than other flash type cards that we have owned in the past. They have a coating on them too so I think they will last longer.

What I really like about this set is the photos on them are actual pictures, actual people and expressions, not cartoon or drawings. One side of the cards has the picture and the other side has the word corresponding to what is being shown.

Another thing that I really like with these is that each emotion/action/body part has two cards depicting it. This is fantastic because emotions. actions and body parts can look different for different situations or different people. It helps teach children that things that are the same or similar can also be different or done different.

These are really nice, they come sorted in sections and both corresponding cards are together in the box when it arrives.

My wife works in an autism classroom and these cards are a great resource. The pictures are all real pictures and not cartoons, which is great for students on the spectrum. The emotion cards were really useful as well as the body parts. Great for younger kids and also special needs students.

This is so great on many levels! It came in a sturdy box that I can use to carry the cards around. Everything was organized and labeled well on the inside. It even came with a coupon for 10% off your next order. I love how, on the back of the first noun cards, it has the feature, function, and class for each item. It makes it easy to teach people about a noun and test them on it later. I will definitely look into other products they sell! I just hope I can keep this as organized as it came.

Son útiles si las quiere utilizar en sesiones de terapia del lenguaje o para sesiones de ABA principalmente en DTT.

She’s been struggling to understand what it means when someone is sad, happy, smiling, or showing excitement, and these cards make it much easier for her. The realistic images are engaging and relatable, making the learning process more intuitive and fun. I love that it gives us a chance to teach her in an interactive way instead of just explaining emotions verbally. It’s also a great bonding activity as we go through the cards together and talk about feelings.

The set is well-made and sturdy, which is important since we use them regularly. Overall, it’s a fantastic resource for teaching kids emotional recognition in a playful and effective way!

These ThinkPsych Flashcards for Action Words, Body Parts and Emotions are quality cards of good thickness and clear photographs. When you first open the box, the Quick Start Guide is the first thing you see. If you open the card, there are four different games described to help children learn new words. I like that the pictures show a variety of ages and races. I think some emotions are hard to guess from the pictures, and they do have two different pictures for each emotion because not everyone's face looks the same for the same emotion.

These cards can be used for discussion about why a facial expression portrays an emotion, eg wide eyes, furrowed brow, open mouth, etc. While body parts and actions may be learned by rote, emotions need to be taught differently. Two or three cards can be offered and the child can be asked, "Which looks the most like sad?" or "If someone had a toy taken away, which might their face look like? What would they be feeling?"

Wow, these cards are amazing. These have made a ch a positive impact in my toddlers speech. He isn’t yet speaking as much clearly and these cards are helping him tremendously. He is able to look at the pictures on the cards and say clearly what it is. He is in the right direction, these cards have definitely made a difference. Sturdy cards and box. I love that the set has the different levels. The pictures are clear with nice colors.. Wonderful. Blessed to have these.

My child has a bit of a speech delay, so these ThinkPsych Picture cards have been a wonderful addition to our daily learning routine. The set is well made with thick, laminated cards that can definitely handle the spills and rough handling that come with young kids. I really appreciate that the cards include a variety of categories—animals, body parts, emotions, and more—so my daughter can learn words in a context that’s meaningful to her.

She loves the bright pictures, and the suggested games keep her excited and motivated to learn. We’ve used the matching and sorting activities to build her vocabulary and practice identifying different objects and categories. Plus, the cards are sturdy, so I know we’ll be able to use them for years. For families with multiple kids, this is a good set to purchase for the children to grow into.

It would be good if there were a few more real-life photos, but overall, these cards are an excellent tool for any parent looking to encourage language development in a fun and interactive way. It comes in a nice box as well and will make a great first-year present or baby shower gift.

These tacting cards are great for early learners. Tacting keeps beginning language simple and exposure to everyday items helps build vocabulary and independence in communicating. These cards are sturdy and finished well. Each item has three cards. Each card has an 2 AI depictions, and a live depiction of the item. The back includes a description of the item. These cards can also be used for other activites such as matching non-identical items, etc.

These cards are tiny. They’ll do the job, but for $40, I expected large 4x6 or 5x7 flash cards. My hand is nearly double the size. I suppose I’m disappointed they aren’t larger.

Overpriced for sure! The only notable quality is their durability. They are not creative at all- they repeat objects 3 times to (I assume) try to show diversity in item appearance but most of the pictures are so similar it feels like wasted space and useless repetition which takes up space for other learning cards they could have put in this box. Disappointing.

Why include so many varieties of junk food in this educational product? It doesn't make sense to me.
