"Meditation can feel like sitting still for no reason to a kid. We built this deck to give that stillness somewhere to go, turning each breathing exercise or body scan into a small trip through the stars."
How to use
- At Home
- In the Classroom
- In Therapy
Pull a card before bed or during a big feelings moment, prop it on the display stand, and read the meditation together or let your child lead it.
It becomes a calming ritual kids ask for on their own, with no meditation experience required.
Use one card as a morning settle in routine or a midday reset. Display it on your desk or read it aloud to the group.
It gives kids a shared, repeatable way to refocus without cutting into instruction time.
Bring a card into session to teach a specific mindfulness skill, then talk through how it felt in the child's body.
The space theme keeps abstract regulation skills concrete enough for kids to actually practice and remember.

Four stars for price, this is just a card game, so the price seems a bit steep to me, but the objective and delivery of this card set is of great value. I think many kids today struggle with being present and mindful of their own body and thoughts and feelings. This these cards are an excellent way to introduce this to a young child and practice this consistently with them, so they can carry it into their teenage years and hopefully beyond. What I love about these cards is that you don’t have to know anything about meditation, mindfulness or breathing, the explanation and example is right on the cards so this is perfect for the parent that wants to introduce this to their kiddo, but doesn’t really know very much about it themselves. You can learn together. The cards are on a thick card stock type material and are not laminated, but they are coded so they will be durable for normal use. The pictures are playful and the colors are calming. I think if you start this at a younger age like 4 or 5-ish they will really enjoy playing this with you and you’ll be building skills that will be important for the rest of their life.
I was so excited to find these cards! I am a special education, teacher and this year. I decided to do a space theme for my room. These cards were a great find since they go with my theme. I have a place in my room called the calm down corner and when the students need a break, they can take a card, read it, and do what it says independently so they are not disruptive to the class. I also use these with my whole class for mindfulness time. The cards are divided into different categories so I can decide which I would like to focus on these cards are a lot of fun and they encourage kids to practice mindfulness which is great for their mental health. These are a great help for my students. They are also visually appealing. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend these cards to others.
These cards are pretty amazing. Its a very easy way to practice mindfulness with those kiddos that need help with anything from anxiety, impulse control, attention, or anger. The research on mindfulness is pretty clear. Its an essential skill that benefits us in all realms of life. I got these cards to use as part of behavior plans for kids in school. I like having so many options for activities that I can quick get to and use. The kids can even get to pick from which category they want choose. We need more tools like this in the schools.
Engaging Mindfulness Activity for Kids, Especially Space LoversThis is a great set of mindfulness cards for kids, especially children who understand the concept of space and have an interest in space-themed activities. While the cards state that they are intended for ages 8 and up, I think many of the exercises could also work well for some children around 6 years old, depending on the individual child. The cards are divided into several different mindfulness categories, including:Breath awarenessBody scanVisualizationSound and listeningMindful movementAwareness of othersPresent momentI appreciate that there are several different exercises within each category. This gives kids and adults multiple ways to practice mindfulness and makes it easier to find activities that fit a child's interests or the particular aspect of mindfulness they want to focus on.The individual exercises are very well thought out and include helpful questions and insights that can guide children through different aspects of mindfulness. I think this makes the cards more useful than simply providing a basic activity without any additional guidance.I also appreciate the resources provided for parents and educators. The instruction manual includes helpful tips for using the cards, along with additional bonus activities that can be incorporated into mindfulness practice. The physical quality of the cards is also good. They are laminated and made from a thick, durable material, which should make them better suited for repeated use by children. The set comes in a box for convenient storage, and it also includes a wooden stand that allows you to display a card upright while using it.Another feature I like is the color coding. Each mindfulness category has its own color, making it easy to identify the different sections as you go through the cards. This is particularly helpful if you want to select a specific type of mindfulness activity rather than simply choosing a card at random.Overall, this is a thoughtfully designed mindfulness activity with a good variety of exercises. The space theme can make mindfulness more engaging for children who are interested in space, while the variety of categories and activities provides plenty of different ways for kids and adults to practice mindfulness together.
These space-themed mindfulness cards are a fantastic tool for introducing kids to meditation and emotional regulation in a way that feels engaging rather than like a chore. The card size is a major plus, they're giant, jumbo-playing-card size with clear, easy-to-read text that makes them super accessible. The cosmic theme keeps things fun, and the variety of prompts is great: some encourage sitting quietly with a deeper prompt, while others are quick, passive "notice this" mindfulness checks that fit naturally into a busy day. They work equally well for a child to pick through on their own, for a quick bedtime routine, or as a group/classroom activity. In fact, a psychologist friend checked out the set and absolutely loved how the exercises were structured! The only minor inclusion that falls a bit flat is the small wooden card stand; it doesn't really add much practical value, so you'll likely just end up holding the cards or laying them flat on the table. But as a whole, it's a wonderfully designed, professional-approved set that makes mindfulness easy and approachable for kids.
I foolishly ordered a couple decks from Temu and they were horrible. I wish I had found this deck sooner! Beautifully printed on big thick cards. I love how the activities are divided into different colours. I'll have my children choose a colour for the day and they get to pick their own card for self regulation or we pick one as a family and we go through it together.I like the little stand that it comes with. I have it set on a table in the living room and I like to put a card in there for the day for the children to refer to on their own (I usually put a frequently picked one or an easy one they can do alone). They don't always use it, but it does get their attention as it is nicely displayed. Sometimes they'll take the card out to use and then put it back on their own.I pictured a few cards from a couple different categories so you can see some of the activities.Overall I'm very impressed by this deck! The quality, variety, and simplicity was exactly what I've been looking for!
These space-themed mindfulness cards are an absolute gem!The first thing I noticed when opening the box was the colors—the palette is so pretty and visually inviting. The card stock quality is spot on: not overly thick or rigid, but not paper-thin either. They feel durable enough to handle frequent use while remaining easy to shuffle and display. While I initially picked these up for the kids to help with emotional regulation and focus, I’ve found that the activities work fantastically for adults, too! The guided meditations and exercises are approachable, fun, and surprisingly grounding no matter your age.To top it all off, everything comes packaged in a super cute, sturdy little box that keeps the entire deck organized and neat on a desk or shelf. Highly recommend this deck to any family, teacher, or counselor!
This ThinkPsych Mindfulness for Kids: Space Edition set is a creative and engaging way to introduce mindfulness to children. The space theme makes the activities feel more like an adventure than an exercise, which is a great approach for keeping kids interested. The set includes 52 different guided meditation and mindfulness cards, providing plenty of variety. I like that children can choose a different activity regularly instead of repeating the same routine. The exercises focus on skills such as paying attention, recognizing emotions, calming down, and becoming more aware of the body. The large cards are easy to read and follow, and the instructions are presented in a way that feels appropriate for kids ages eight and older. The included guide is also helpful for parents and teachers who want to incorporate the cards into a regular routine.Another thoughtful addition is the wooden display stand. A selected card can be left out as the activity for the day, which makes it easier to remember and encourages consistent use.I also appreciate that the activities were developed by psychologists with mindfulness experience. The combination of professional input and imaginative space-themed presentation makes the set both purposeful and enjoyable.Overall, this is a well-designed mindfulness activity set for kids. The 52-card variety, engaging space theme, easy-to-follow exercises, parent/educator guidance, and display stand make it useful at home, in classrooms, or as a thoughtful gift.
As a parent always looking for effective ways to help my child manage everyday stress and big emotions, the ThinkPsych Mindfulness for Kids: Space Edition deck has been an absolute game-changer in our household. This beautifully designed set of 52 guided meditation cards brilliantly combines evidence-based mindfulness techniques with an imaginative space theme that immediately captures a child's interest. Because they were designed by licensed child psychologists, the activities are perfectly tailored for ages 8+, offering concrete somatic and cognitive exercises that teach body awareness, emotional regulation, and stress relief without feeling like a chore. The sturdy cardstock material means they can withstand daily handling, and the 12.7 x 8.9 cm size makes them easy for smaller hands to hold and flip through. What we love most about this deck is how versatile and actionable it is for real-life scenarios. Instead of simply telling a frustrated or anxious child to "calm down," we can pull a card from the deck before homework, during a meltdown, or right before bedtime to gently redirect their energy. The cosmic prompts make breathing exercises and grounding techniques feel like an intergalactic adventure rather than therapy. Since incorporating these cards into our daily routine, I have noticed a visible improvement in my child's attention span and their ability to self-regulate when overwhelmed. It is an indispensable, high-quality resource that is perfect for parents, teachers, and school counselors alike who want to gift children emotional tools they can use for life.
As a school counselor, I love resources that make emotional regulation and mindfulness feel engaging rather than clinical, and the space theme immediately makes these cards more inviting for kids. The set includes 52 guided meditation cards, which gives you a tremendous amount of variety instead of repeating the same breathing exercise over and over. I can see these being useful for counseling sessions, calm-down spaces, classrooms, small groups, or at home. Although they're recommended for ages 8+, I especially appreciate having another resource available as children get older and are ready for more structured mindfulness activities. The cards provide an easy starting point rather than requiring an adult to create a meditation or regulation activity from scratch. The combination of mindfulness and a fun space theme is excellent. Anything that helps children practice slowing down, noticing what's happening internally, and developing tools for emotional regulation is worthwhile in my book. Five stars!

It is a beautiful, highly effective, and engaging gift that empowers young explorers with self regulation skills they will carry with them for life. I rate these cards a 5 out of 5
I'm an adult and I love these cards. The concept of mindfulness usually elicits eye rolls from me. I try. I really do. I've tried every practice my therapist has recommended. But these are fun and bypass the judgment. I grew up being interested in everything about outer space, so maybe that helps. There are color coded cards for the different categories: visualization, breath awareness, loving kindness, body scan, listening, mindful movement, and present moment. I have a C-PTSD history, with my nervous system constantly in knots, so mindfulness is supposed to really help. It always feels like a stretch. But these cards don't feel like trying. The visualization of the activities (and I don't mean just the visualization category) actually calms me before I even do them. Who knew. It's like a game, but effective, too. You get a card stand. These are from memory and paraphrased (so they might actually be a combo of cards or way off, but this is how they stuck with me, I didn't let myself fact check):Walk like you are on the moon with zero gravity. Then walk like you are on [a planet with high gravity].Act like you are receiving transmissions from outer space. Follow each sound as it comes in and moves past.Overall, these cards work for me. Even if I find a handful of cards that really speak to me and help me practice mindfulness, it's a huge win. I think this set does this.
