This has been great for our family to practice social skills. This game is a good way to get families talking to each other, and remind everyone how to best communicate. It’s awesome for anyone with social issues to learn how to interact and would be a great therapy tool. I love that it includes sharing feelings, and also being mindful of nonverbal communication cues as well as learning how to stay on topic.
The structure of the cards makes it easy to show what a conversation is “made of” and how much can be discussed around a single topic when you look at the length of the chain. We personally didn’t need or use the point system, although I do understand that it could be great for other types of kids.
This helps our son with a speech disorder to communicate better.
Most importantly…it is fun to play! Very versitile for different age levels and language skill.
Great concept! We can play as a family and it helps open communication.
