Flashcards – Preschool and Older – Autism/Special Ed – ABA Therapy
This resource is a collection of 150 high-quality flash cards that cover 50 common first words for children with language delays. Each noun has three pictures: two that are illustrated and one that is a photo on a plain white background. Having three pictures ensures that children learn a variety of examples of each noun. Three pictures also allows you to practice non-identical matching with these cards.
They are PERFECT to use in ABA or discrete trial instruction for kids with autism. They are sized to be small enough (2.5″ by 2.5″) so that you can place as many as 10 or 12 on a desk in front of a student for a big array. We provide the pictures in two formats: 3 printable PDF files with 6 pages each of 2.5″ x 2.5″ flash cards and individual JPG files. If you prefer, you can easily make larger flash cards with these pictures.
This set of cards was specifically designed by a BCBA to reflect some of the earliest words that children with language delays can learn. There are items included from five categories: animals, clothes, food, household, and toys. We also include a free data sheet to take data on the child’s progress learning these words.
